Textile Designer Amelia works cross-discipline in the fields of fashion, art, and interiors
Interest in her geometric and arithmetic work led to the launch of her eponymous line in 2014: free and measured rhythms, nods to brutalist architecture, African textiles and post-modernism, encapsulated in signature prints on fabric, art prints and scarves.
Alongside Amelia Graham London products, Amelia also work on commission for Women and Menswear Clients, interior and commercial designers; recent projects include beauty packaging design, Resort and Swimwear, store window design, and contract furnishings.
A graduate of Chelsea College of Art and Design, Amelia spent a decade designing womenswear print in London before moving to Paris freelancing for international fashion brands.
Returning to London in 2012, she began working in other domains, designing a rug for the W hotel, department store window graphics in Amsterdam, and interior prints for private clients under her own name.
"Collaboration and interdisciplinary dialogue are fundamental to my work. Revisiting traditional textile motifs while looking firmly to the future, my work is driven by an innate belief that textile design can transcend the boundaries of fashion and interior and have universal application, not confined to a sole platform.”
Commissions for international hotels, globally renowned fashion labels and high profile collaborations with product, interior and retail environment designers, and embroiderers, have allowed her to put this theory into practice.
Clients include LVMH, Nike, The W Hotel, Zara, and the Saatchi Gallery.. Amelia also works as a consultant print designer for start up and eco brands.
Amelia is available for commission or you can explore her archive of prints for exclusive purchase here. Her own line is currently stocked by the Tate Modern.
Amelia lives in London with her husband and two small sons.
